Graduate Studies
As a leader in the field, we create exceptional opportunities for graduate education in all sub-areas of geography. We offer three research-based degrees (MS and PhD in Geography; MS in Cartography & GIS), as well as an accelerated / non-thesis MS in Cartography & GIS.
Scholarship & Outreach
Research in our department seeks to answer questions posed in physical, human, people-environment geographies, and cartography/GIS. Unique units devoted to collaboration create spaces of mutual learning and training for faculty, staff, and students.
